Each partner has curated an event for the MDOCS Forum Playlist and will convene their own local group of participants to take part in the events of Forum weekend. We aim at supporting the African documentary film industry through interconnected initiatives in storytelling development and content creation, knowledge-building and sharing, distribution, and audience building. It was created by the Committee of Latin American Filmmakers, as a subsidiary of the Foundation for New Latin American Cinema and with the support of the government of the Republic of Cuba. It opened on December 15, 1986. Originally conceived for students from Latin America, Africa and Asia,&nbsp; EICTV put into practice the teaching philosophy of &#8220;learning by doing&#8221;, with teachers who are active filmmakers and pass on their knowledge backed by exercise and experience. At present, its registration is open to those interested in audiovisual from all over the world. The Dar al-Kalima was established in 2006 with the Documentary Film Program and the Ceramic and Glass Art Program. At that point, the college had just 22 students. Today, the University College has nine accredited majors. The Dar al-Kalima University College of Arts and Culture is the first institution of higher education in Palestine to focus its educational objectives on the performing arts, visual arts, and cultural heritage. Fund excellent creative people and projects through residencies and nurture the next generation of organizers and administrators through fiscal sponsorship. Support and advise existing and envisioned residency programs across the region to foster sustainable creative exchange. We believe diplomacy shouldn\u2019t just be left up to politicians.
